If you are seeking chaplain certification as a part of your college curriculum, at EMET, we can help you achieve your goal. Our training program is excellent for students who are chaplains or a new student enrolling in chaplain certification training for the first time.

PASTORAL CARE EDUCATION (P.C.E)
What Is Meant By Pastoral Care Education (PCE)?
Pastoral care is performed by Chaplains and other religious professionals, usually with persons of their own faith tradition.
At Emet Global Theological Seminary and College our chaplaincy curriculum includes education on how to provide Pastoral care to patients, families and staff members in multi-faith setting.
The resource we use for our Pastoral Care Education (PCE), was developed by Board Certified Chaplains and Board Certified Jewish Chaplains to be used by Clergy, Professional Chaplains, Seminarians & Professors, Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) Students and Educators. These Professional Spiritual and Pastoral Care lessons are designed to help, not only those within the hospital or hospice setting, but all chaplains and leaders of faith communities to improve and keep their pastoral skills professional, helpful and caring.
Even though EMET doesn't offer a clinical (hands-on) component to our PCE course, the education we provide is very thorough and detailed. Our chaplains graduate the course ready for the real task at hand and are able to conduct spiritual assessments and create spiritual care plans for those they serve.
CLINICAL PASTORAL EDUCATION (C.P.E)
What is meant by Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE)?
Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) is a combination of professional education and hands-on experience, providing spiritual care to patients, families and staff members in multi-faith clinical setting.
EMET does not offer Clinical Pastoral Education. However our Chaplaincy Course entails Pastoral Care Education without the clinical (hands-on) component.
