history

Emet Global Theological Seminary and College (also known as “EMET Seminary”) was established on September 16, 2019 as a fully online Theological seminary with the intention of offering, to the public, affordable Christian Education based on Bible truths. The Hebrew word “Emet” means “truth”, hence our name Emet Global Theological Seminary and College.

Founder and President, Dr. Monica Dennis-Jones was encouraged to start a school where students could be trained in the biblical truths she was already teaching on her daily radio programs at Caribbean Gospel Radio FM. After much research, a decision was made to partner with one of the largest recognized providers of Christian educators to fulfil this mission and on October 22, 2019 we publicly dedicated EMET and our President, into service for the Lord. On October 28, 2019, we had our first student registration. After a year and half of planning, Emet was finally incorporated in the State of Georgia, USA in 2021.

Emet’s vision is to equip the body of Christ by teaching absolute Biblical truths from the word of Yahweh (God), to those willing to learn. We are committed to educating, equipping and developing Christians that will impact the world as they in turn, lead others to biblical truths in Yahweh’s word.

our school colors

purple

Purple has almost always been the color of a dignitary, a rich person, and particularly a king.  Israel was commanded to “make the tabernacle with ten curtains of fine twined linen and blue and purple and scarlet yarns; you shall make them with cherubim skillfully worked into them" (Ex 26:1) and they are to “make a screen for the entrance of the tent, of blue and purple and scarlet yarns and fine twined linen, embroidered with needlework" (Ex 26:26).

Purple was so prevalent in the temple because God wanted Israel to recognize that the greatest royalty of all is God Himself. The temple displayed purple in multiple places to remind them of the fact that God is the sovereign King over all the universe.

WE USE PURPLE AS A SYMBOL THAT YAHWEH IS THE SOVEREIGN KING AND  LEADER OF EMET GLOBAL THEOLOGICAL SEMINARY AND COLLEGE.

white

This color is the presence of all the light in the visible spectrum. When it enters our eyes, it stimulates all of our cone cells that God made light sensitive.

White, in the Bible and in today's society, is typically associated with purity, things that are good, innocence, honesty, and cleanliness.

WE USE WHITE AS A SYMBOL OF THE HOLY SPIRIT LIGHTING THE WAY INTO ALL TRUTH!

YELLOW-gold

These two colors when combined, represents God’s love and divinity as well as the Anointing and Glory of God.

King Solomon had an ivory throne overlaid with the best gold (1 Kings 10:18).  When instructions were given for building the furniture in the Tabernacle, God was very specific about the use of gold.  Every piece of furniture pointed to Christ and to His deity.  For example, in the Holy of Holies, the Ark of the Covenant was constructed of acacia wood (symbolic of Jesus’ humanity) and overlaid with pure gold (symbolic of His divinity). The mercy seat was pure gold as well as the two cherubim, one on each side with wings outstretched (Exodus 25:10-21). The lampstand was constructed of pure gold, and the table of shewbread and the altar of incense were constructed of acacia wood (Christ’s humanity) and overlaid with gold (Christ’s divinity).

WE USE YELLOW-GOLD AS A REPRESENTATION OF JESUS CHRIST BEING EVER PRESENT IN THE DAY TO DAY ADMINISTRATION OF THIS SEMINARY AND COLLEGE.

Here at Emet Global Theological Seminary and College, we have an Online campus to meet your learning needs.
