If you plan on studying for personal edification or in order to better feed the flock of Christ, you may want to consider a low-cost tuition school such as EMET, which is usually not accredited by the government.

Emet Global Theological Seminary and College is...

- Accredited by Theological Accreditation International

- Member of the American Association for Higher Education

- An Accredited CTI Affiliate Chaplaincy Training Institution

A Seminary or Bible College is an extension of the Church and is considered a Religious institution.  In the United States, Government accreditation for religious institutions is not required by law.  Governmental agencies never provide theological accreditation.  Accreditation is a voluntary and costly process.  Government accreditation, while may be beneficial to some institutions of higher learning, is not always the best choice for religious educational institutions.  Because we want to keep our tuition at an affordable cost, we have elected not to be governed by the U.S. Department of Education and do not seek Regional Accreditation.  Additionally, Government accreditation does not support Emet’s goals and vision at this time.
