A crisis is a time of intense difficulty, trouble or danger; a time when a difficult or important decision must be made.
Everywhere you look today, the impact of disasters both natural and unnatural are seemingly increasing… fires, tornadoes, hurricanes, accidents, shootings, earthquakes, floods and viruses never seem to go away. People, then begin to look for answers.

CRISIS RESPONSE TEAM
A Crisis Response Team helps people in crisis to cope with immediate stressors. Members of the Crisis Response Team can provide safety planning measures as well as useful education on “coping skills” while making appropriate referrals as needed.

During times of crisis and emergencies, assistance is requested of many local congregations to provide spiritual care to victims and those facing life changing events. While, not being a Chaplain, the Crisis Response Team is called upon to provide hope amongst chaos, hurt, suffering and pain.
